In Hebrews 10:5, we read that God wasn’t interested in sin offerings, those offerings had been given, according to the law of Moses. What then, were the people to do to be accepted by God? Psalm 80:4 tells us: they/we are to turn to God.
Although not one of the readings for today, Ephesians 2:8-9 explains. We can’t really ‘do’ anything to have a relationship with God. That relationship, and all it means, is a gift of God’s grace, and something we can have only through faith.
