Do we notice? Are we thankful? In the gospel reading for Sunday (Luke 17:11-19), we read or heard the story of the one leper who asked Jesus for healing, and, when he realized he had been healed, returned to say thank you. As Jesus asks, “where are the other nine?”
We each have so many blessings, yet we may often take them for granted. Perhaps we need to pay attention and really count our blessings and then give thanks for all God has done for us. We can either be like the one or the nine. Let’s try to be more like the one!
