Jesus told us that we are to love God and our neighbors as ourselves. In Sunday’s readings we were reminded that we are to forgive – after all, how can we love if we are holding on to injustices, misdeeds, harsh words, and all the other things we all occasionally do to each other? Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting, nor are we expected to stay in the presence of someone who hurts us (Unless that person is ourselves!) So let us work toward forgiving ourselves and others so we can love, love, love!
