Easter
To the clergy, laity, and friends of the Catholic Apostolic Church of Antioch, peace, joy, and apostolic blessing.
As we celebrate the joyous occasion of Easter, we are reminded of the ultimate symbol of hope and renewal – the Resurrection of Jesus, the Anointed One. This miraculous event serves as a powerful reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always the promise of new beginnings, and the triumph of light over darkness.
In today’s world, we are faced with challenges that seem insurmountable – social polarization, division, and discord seem to be ever-present. However, just as Jesus’ resurrection brought hope to his followers, we too can find solace in the belief that something greater is at work, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. The story of Easter teaches us that even in our most difficult moments, there is always the possibility of redemption and reconciliation. It reminds us that through faith, love, and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacles, no matter how daunting they may appear to be.
Let us take this opportunity to reflect on the message of Easter and carry its spirit of optimism and renewal into our lives. May we be inspired to seek common ground, build bridges, and spread love and kindness wherever we may go.
