Church of Antioch

Our founder, Patriarch Herman Adrian Spruit, touched many lives and ordained many people. CCOA-USA is pleased to be part of this lineage.

We recognize the catholicity and independence of each other. While we are in mutual spiritual kinship, we do not necessarily share in all doctrinal opinion, sacramental devotion, or liturgical practice characteristics.

Within the vast Spruit family, we are associated with the Iglesia Universal Apostolica de Antioquia in Argentina. Archbishop Anastasia Voyatjides. We are also closely related to the Autocephalous Catholic Church of Antioch, United Kingdom. Archbishop Leon Hunt.

Our daughter church is the Iglesia Católica Apostólica de Antioquía in México. Bishop Daniel Barcenas Arellano
